David Philpott - BDS Bham 1992 (GDC No. 68115)
Hi, I’m David, I qualified in December 1992 and worked for four other practices as an associate before establishing my own practice in November 2001. I have attended numerous CPD courses including Dr Paul Tipton’s condensed MSC. I have a particular interest in crown and bridge restoratives. I pride myself in caring for very nervous patients and children making their experience of dentistry as pleasant as possible.

Favourite Meal: Lasagne!
Hobby: Playing golf and classic car hunting!
Eloise Butler - BDS Ncle 2005 (GDC No. 85686)
Hi I'm Eloise and I've worked at the practice since 2011 when I relocated back to the Midlands after several years working in the Gold Coast, Australia. Since I qualified from Newcastle in 2005, I have continued to develop my dental skills, including extended fixed prosthodontics and numerous professional development courses. I aim to provide high quality dental care to all my patients. Outside of dentistry, I like travelling and am an avid skier. In my spare time I also enjoy baking-making use of my chicken's eggs!

Nida Hussain - BDS London 2008 (GDC No 153916)
Nida graduated from King's College London in 2008. Following her vocational training year in Essex, she gained invaluable experience working in the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Basildon Hospital. Nida enjoys all aspects of general practice dentistry but has a particular interest in veneers, crowns and teeth whitening. Keen to further her skills in this field, Nida has completed a year long course in contemporary restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Nida has also undertaken further extensive training in Invisalign (nearly clear braces) and is an Invisalign Go provider.
Outside dentistry Nida enjoys travelling and chasing after her young children.
Nida will be on materntiy leave from 16/10/19 till 14/10/20
Lucy Stratton - BDS Bham 2009 (GDC No 177769) -
Lucy graduated from Birmingham Dental School in 2009 and is GDC registered. Shen then completed her Foundation year training from the Plymouth scheme in 2010. She has had experience of working in Melbourne, Australia as an elective periodontal study. Subsequently she has worked in the UK since then and brings with her a wealth of good clinical experience in providing excellent patient care. In her spare time Lucy likes playing the calarinet and art.
Helen Light - BDS Brist 1995 (GDC No 70525)
Helen joined the team at the beginning of September 2019. Helen qualified from Bristol back in 1995 and has provided high quality dentistry since. She continues to keep upto date with all training and all changes that are regularly happening within Dentistry. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and dogs.

Hygienists
Patricia Darby (GDC No. 2231)
I joined the practice in June 2011 and am a fully qualified dental hygienist. In 1978 I obtained my DSA qualification from Birmingham Dental Hospital and in 1981 I qualified as a dental hygienist at the Institute of Dental Health and Training at RAF Halton, Aylesbury. During my career I feel I have provided a high standard of preventative dental care and encouraged my patients to develop good oral hygiene.
Hayley Cook (GDC No. 149992)
I qualified as a dental nurse in 2001 and then qualified as a hygienist/therapist in 2008 in Oral Health Science BSC at Manchester University, I have worked at South Road Dental Practice since 2009. I am passionate about my work and work well with children and nervous patients, and am dedicated to providing good quality care for my patients.
Julie Hill - Practice Manager
I joined South Road Dental Practice in July 2009 as a receptionist and assistant to the Practice Manager. I took over as Practice Manager in January 2012. I have an employment background in office administration and management. I like to spend my free time with my 3 dogs and compete with them in dog agility

Lynn Cotton (GDC No. 136354)I am a fully qualified Dental Nurse and joined the practice on the first day of establishment in 2001. I am senior nurse here at the practice and in my spare time I enjoy going out with my two dogs and completing agility competitions with them. |

Julie Kane (GDC No. 246177)I joined the practice in July 2007 as a receptionist. I took maternity leave from November 2008 to September 2009 and am now a qualified dental nurse completing my qualification in 2013. I also assist the Practice Manager with practice compliance.
